So far from the garden this year we've harvested two batches of basil pesto and two batches of cucumbers and tomatoes for chicken gyros with home made tzatziki. Tonight I'm putting more of the tomatoes and basil to use in a quick pasta sauce.

I wouldn't claim home grown ingredients taste better, but there is certainly a lot more satisfaction when using them.
